Modi discusses poll campaign with BJP leaders

Prime Minister candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Narendra Modi arrived here on Wednesday evening on a two-day visit to the State.

He addressed a meeting of office-bearers of the BJP in the Sate at Mascot Hotel soon after his arrival. Mr. Modi is also interacting with them on the preparedness of the State unit for the Lok Sabha election campaign.

Earlier, Mr. Modi was received at the airport and the hotel by party leaders and supporters.

He will attend the 60th birth anniversary celebrations of Mata Amrithanandamayi at Amrithapuri, near Kollam, on Thursday. He will leave the State on Thursday afternoon.
