The six school students who went missing in the Ranipuram forests from Chemnad near Kanhangad, were traced by the police and forest officials late on Thursday evening, sources said.

The students lost their way in the thick forests around 3.30 pm. However, hectic search operations carried by the police and forest officials yielded results, accorded to sources at the Rajapuram police station.

According to preliminary information, all the children are safe.
