Minister releases manual for senior civil police officers

Revenue Minister, Adoor Prakash, has released the ‘Advanced Manual for senior civil police officers’ written by A. Nasim, Deputy Superintendent of Police, at a function here on Saturday.

Addressing the function, the Minister said the manual would be of great help to the police personnel and for the future generation.

He said the book provides useful information and guidance to the police personnel on various scientific investigations of criminal cases.

The Minister released the book by handing over its first copy to H. Salimraj, Additional District Magistrate.

Mr Salim Kambisserry, former Deputy Director of Prosecution, presided over the function. Pazhakulam Madhu, District Panchayat Education Standing Committee chairman; Putta Vimaladitya, Superintendent of Police; R. Chandrashekharan, DySP; M.A. Abdul Rahim, Kerala Police Association president; G. Sunnykutty, KPA district secretary; Mr Nasim, and Babu Raiban, Raiban Publications managing director, also spoke.

This is the fifth book from the stables of Mr Nasim for the police personnel. His earlier publications are Police Digest, Police Jurisprudence, Protocol of Investigation, and Manual for Civil Police Officers.
