Mild tremors occurred at various places of Thrissur district at around 7.45 p.m., lasting for about five to 10 seconds, official sources said.
They said the tremors disrupted the communication network, making it difficult to get in touch with authorities concerned to know the intensity of the tremors or the epicentre.
