Two metal idols, resembling panchaloha , were found by a group of women workers while working in a private coffee plantation under the Kenichira police station limit at Mathamangalam near Irulam in the district on Monday.

The bigger idol has a height of 21 cm and a width of 12.5 cm and the second is 20 cm in height and 10.5 cm inwidth, T.K. Sreevalsan, Sub Inspector of police, Kenichira told The Hindu .

Mr. Sreevalsan said the idols were kept at the Kenichira police station and would be handed over to the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) on Thursday.
