Two metal idols, resembling panchaloha, were found by a group of women workers while working in a private coffee plantation under the Kenichira police station limit at Mathamangalam near Irulam in the district on Monday.

The bigger idol has a height of 21 cm and a width of 12.5 cm and the second is 20 cm in height and 10.5 cm inwidth, T.K. Sreevalsan, Sub Inspector of police, Kenichira told The Hindu.

Mr. Sreevalsan said the idols were kept at the Kenichira police station and would be handed over to the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) on Thursday.
