C.N. Jayadevan, MP, laid the foundation stone for the memorial of poet Kunjunni at Athiyaram, Valappad, on Sunday. He also inaugurated the remembrance meeting held in connection with the poet’s 11th death anniversary.
Kunjunni Mash Smaraka Samithy chairperson Geetha Gopi, MLA, presided over the function. Kerala Sahitya Akademi president Vaisakhan delivered the remembrance talk.
The meeting started after paying floral tributes at Kunjunni’s final resting place.
