The college, coming up at Ukkinadka in Badiyadukka grama panchayat, has received administrative sanction for Rs.288 crore works, Sivakumar said, inaugurating the new building of the Madhur Primary Health Centre at Mayipadi near here on Thursday.

The work on the college will be speeded up from now, he said.

As many as 21 posts of new doctors have been filled up through the Public Service Commission and the remaining vacancies will be filled up soon, he said.
