Malayala Manorama reporter selected for Young Journalist Award

The award was instituted in the name of Shaji Alex - a former reporter of Surya TV. He died in a road mishap at Adoor a few months ago.

Ajeesh Muraleedharan, a reporter with the Malayala Manorama , has been selected for the first Young Journalist Award instituted by the State Youth Welfare Board district unit in Pathanamthitta. The award was instituted in the name of Shaji Alex - a former reporter of Surya TV. He died in a road mishap at Adoor a few months ago.

Devaswom Minister, Kadannappally Ramachandran, will present the award to Mr Muraleedharan at a function to be held in connection with the Youth Day celebrations at Pathanamthitta Town Hall on January 12.
