The six-day film festival, Frames-2012, jointly organised by the Kerala Chalachitra Akademi, Mar Baselius C-DIT Off-campus and Pathanamthitta Press Club, will be held at Town Hall here from January 30 to February 4.
Veteran film personality, Madhu, will inaugurate the festival at a function to be helda th4 Town Hall on Monday afternoon.
Youhanon Mar Chrysostum, Metropolitan of the Pathanamthitta diocese of the Malankara Catholic Church, will preside over the function and Vijayakrishnan, film critic, will deliver the keynote address. Sanu George Thomas, Press Club president and Fr Benny Narakathinal, director of Mar Baselius C-DIT Off-campus, will also address the inaugural function.
Vijayakrishnan’s awardwinnig movie, ‘Umma’ will be screened, later, at 7.30 pm.

The valedictory function of the six-day film festival will be held at 5 pm. K. Madhu, director, will inaugurate the meeting. Baby MAtew Somatheerom, president of Kerala Children’s Film Society, will deliver the keynote address.
James Joseph, director; Fr John Thundiyath, manager of Mar Baselius C-DIT Off-campus and Biju Kurien, Press Club secretary, will also address the function. A. Sureshkumar, municipal chairman, will preside over the meeting.
