Agnipareekshakal, the autobiography of G. Madhavan Nair, former ISRO chairman who is facing trial in the Antrix-Devas deal case by the CBI, is said to contain startling revelations on the deal and less known facts about the development of some of India’s successful launch vehicles.

The book is due for release at the ongoing DC Books International Book Festival at Marine Drive on Sunday. The publishers, DC Books, said that the book shed light on the challenges faced during the development of the workhorse of ISRO, the PSLV, and insider stories behind Chandrayan, GSLV, Space Capsule Recovery and Edusat. Mr. Nair defends himself in the Antrix-Devas deal case.

Mr. Nair also discusses everything, from the age-old ISRO espionage case to the more recent controversy pertaining to acquisition of land for setting up the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram.

The book is priced at ₹399.
