KUWJ protest

A group of writers, film-makers, artists and social, workers who gathered at the Press Club here on Friday at the invitation of Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ), has urged political parties, religious outfits and other groups to desist from curbing the press freedom.

The get-together was organised to protest against the death threats being received by Sreejith Sreekumar, district correspondent of Reporter Television channel.

Speakers on the occasion urged leaders of political parties to stop their cadres from attacking journalists on duty.
