Kottayam Revenue District School Cultural Festival will be held here from December 20 to 23.
Competitions will be held in 280 events in upper primary, high school and higher secondary sections. As many as 4,900 students are expected to participate in the festival, to be held in 10 venues.
K. Ajith, MLA, will inaugurate the festival. Jose K. Mani, MP, will preside over the function. Mons Joseph, MLA, will deliver the keynote address. Vaikom municipal chairperson Sreelatha Balachandran will also speak.
Kottayam district panchayat president Radha V. Nair will distribute prizes to winners during the valedictory function of the four-day event.
