The three-member Cabinet sub-committee constituted to study the impact of Sunday’s firework disaster at the Puttingal Devi Temple premises has begun a visit to the homes and farms affected by the tragedy and interact with the local populace.

The sub-committee, which held a detailed discussion with district civil and police administration officials, inspected the damaged houses and spoke to the people. The sub-committee would submit its report to the Cabinet for follow-up action.

The Cabinet had constituted the committee, comprising Revenue Minister Adoor Prakash, Health Minister V.S.
