February 26, 2013 03:13 am | Updated June 13, 2016 09:47 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Kerala police have found out the real world identity of the person who posted defamatory comments against State Mahila Congress chief Bindu Krishna on February 4 using his account on a popular social networking site.

A senior official said the suspect had also made several other posts. The police have written to the social network service managers seeking the Internet protocol address of the person, who initiated the address, to legally prosecute him in court.

The account holder made derogatory comments against Ms. Krishna for her stance on reinvestigating the Suryanelli sex scandal case. The suspect portrayed her stance as “anti-women” and supportive of Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien.
