Kerala Congress (Secular) to support NDA

A section of the leaders of the Kerala Congress (Secular) has said the party has rejected the decision of its leader T.S. John to merge with the Kerala Congress (Mani) group. The party continues to exist and has elected Kallada Das as its chairman, they say.

The decision was taken at the State secretariat meeting of the party held at Thiruvananthapuram. Mr. Das said at a press conference here on Monday the newly constituted leadership of the party had decided supporting the National Democratic Alliance in the Assemble elections. — Special Correspondent
