Kerala cabinet extends the validity of PSC rank lists

The Kerala Cabinet on Wednesday decided to extend the validity PSC rank lists, expiring during the current financial year, up to May 31, 2011.

The department heads and appointment authorities will be directed to report all vacancies that are likely to arise up to March 31, 2011 to the Public Service commission, to enable absorption of maximum number of candidates from the rank lists.

Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan told the media after the Cabinet meeting that the heads of departments and appointment authorities would be told to report vacancies positively before July 31.
