30 bloggers from across the world will promote tourism destinations of the State

They are all bloggers from different counties getting together for savouring the beauty of the State. As part of the Kerala Blog Express, 30 bloggers from 28 countries reached Munnar here on Thursday evening.

The young travellers will promote tourism destinations of the the State in different countries. Cultural programmes were staged for them at a traditional bungalow at Karadipara, near Munnar.

Grand welcome

The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) gave the bloggers a grand welcome at its office in Munnar. The unique climate and greenery of Munnar enthused the bloggers. Some were seen writing notes and a few interacted with the local people.

The bloggers will be in the Sate for 15 days and two days are exclusively for travelling in Idukki.

The Kerala Blog Express was flagged off by Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran on Sunday. The programme is jointly organised by Tourism Department in association with Kerala Tourism and Homestay Society.
