Minister for Dewasom Kadnnappally Ramachandran will inaugurate Sumangaleeyam-4, the fourth mass marriage function organised by the Maha Ganapathy Charitable Trust , on the premises of the Sree Mariyamman temple at Sulthan Bathery in the district at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
As many as 73 prospective Hindu couples from Wayanad and Neelgiri will get married and financial assistance will be provided to four couples belonging to the Christian and Muslim religions at the function, the organisers said.
Gold ornaments of four sovereign, the dresses for the couples and feast for a hundred invitees of each couple will be provided by the trust .M.I .Shanavas MP will disburse the matrimonial financial assistance and Adv. T.R. Balakrishnan, president, Kerala Cricket Association, will distribute the Mangalyasoothra to the couples on that occasion, the organisers added.
