Industry machinery expo begins

Minister for Health V.S Sivakumar on Thursday hailed the contribution of the industrial sector in the economic growth of the State. Speaking after inaugurating an industrial machinery exhibition, he said lack of knowledge about latest technology was one of the major handicaps faced by entrepreneurs in the State.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Mayor Happy Kumar. Others who attended the meeting were Director of Industries and Commerce P.M Francis, General Manager of District Industries Centre P. Mathew, District president of the Kerala State Small-Scale Industries Association T.S Ramakrishnan amd Chief Manager of IOB Raghu.

Machinery associated with the food processing industry, concrete block-making units are on display.
