The High Power Committee for Implementation of Sabarimala Masterplan chaired by Additional Chief Secretary, K.Jayakumar, will meet at the Devaswom Guest House at Pampa on the foothills of Sabarimala on Saturday forenoon.
The committee will hold discussions on the expressions of interest received from various agencies for preparing the design and detailed lay-out plan of various projects to be implemented as part of the proposed Sabarimala Masterplan.
Mr. P.V.Nalinakshan Nair, Devaswom Commissioner, Mr. T.M.Manoharan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. K.Ravikumar, Mr. V.Rajagopal, both TDB Chief Engineers and a Deputy Chief Engineer attached to Kerala State Electricity Board are the other members of the high power committee of which the Special Commissioner appointed by Kerala High Court, M. Rajendran Nair, is the observer.
The meeting is expected to take certain key decisions on awarding the contract for preparation of the design and detailed lay-out plan of various major development projects to be implemented at Sabarimala.
