DM Foundation, a charity wing of the DM Healthcare, a leading healthcare conglomerate operating in India as well as in the West Asian countries is launching an exclusive health-related Malayalam portal. Making a pre-launch announcement of the venture, chairman of the DM Healthcare and MIMS Azad Moopen said here on Saturday that the portal would be launched by the health minister Adoor Prakash in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.

Stating that the portal was designed and completed after a series of field studies and exhaustive researches, Dr. Moopen said that it would offer a whole lot of novel features to the users. He maintained that long years of experience in the field of medical service had come quite handy for the foundation in setting up healthcare portal. “That we are a group basically involved in the healthcare service for the last several years has given us a great edge in realising this project quite professionally,” said Dr. Moopen.

In-depth information on all major ailments, lifestyle related contents, ‘ask-the-doctor’ service as well as job and career opportunities in the medical fields across the country and abroad are some of the key features of the portal according to him. “In addition, celebrities will also be sharing their health and beauty secrets with the public through the portal,” said Irfan Habeeb, executive editor of the portal, who also was present on the occasion.
