Grand farewell to retiring teachers

A farewell was given by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of PKMM Higher Secondary School to five teachers who are retiring from service.

Day-long programmes marked the celebrations. Abdurhaman Randathani, MLA, inaugurated the celebrations.

Teachers

He honoured the retiring teachers K. Basheer, M.P. Malathi, C.P. Abdul Hakeem, P.R. Sushama, and B. Prasanna Kumari.

Young artiste Adish Krishna, who shot to fame through Kutti Patturummal Reality Show, inaugurated a cultural session in which the school’s achievers who won the first prize in the State school arts festival staged their items.

PTA. president P. Ibrahim Kutty presided.

School manager P. Mohammed Basheer presented mementoes to the guests. Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Additional Chief Physician P. Madhavankutty Varier, Vengara block panchayat president Sulaikha Kazhungil, Edarikode panchayat president Thaikadan Mohammed Haneefa and several other people’s representatives spoke.
