Gesture by school

: The Red Cross unit of Goodwill English School, Pookkottumpadam, and the school’s Aiswarya Social Service Club jointly donated Rs. 50,000 to the Kidney Patients Welfare Society of the district panchayat and Rs. 25,000 to the Pain and Palliative Care clinic of Pookkottumpadam.

School manager M. Abdul Nazar handed over the contributions to Amarambalam panchayat president N.M. Basheer during the school’s 18th anniversary celebrations on Monday.

N.A. Kareem, chairman of the Cooperative Agricultural Land Development Bank, Nilambur, presided.

D. Sayed, president of Malappuram Sahodaya, delivered the keynote address at the function.

M. Jouhar, Sahodaya secretary, released the school magazine titled The Mirror . MSAT exam controller P.A.M. Abdul Khader, Goodwill Charitable Trust chairman M. Kunhi Mohammed, and other spoke.
