George alleges phone tapping

P.C. George has alleged that his phone and those of his friends and relatives have been tapped for the past three months. Speaking to the media at Erattupetta on Wednesday, Mr. George added that the phones had been tapped with the knowledge of the Home Department.

Complaints in this regard had been submitted to the Chief Minister, Speaker, Home Minister, and the State Police Chief, he said.

A press note issued by the Speaker’s office here on Wednesday said the Speaker had sent the complaint to the Chief Minister and the Home Minister.
