Four killed in separate accidents

Four persons were killed and three injured in two separate accidents at Kanakkari and Manganam here on Monday.

Two persons were killed and one injured when a car first hit a pedestrian and then collided with a stationary lorry at Kanakkari, police said. Driver of the car Ibrahimkutty (48) and Shahas (34), who was also in the car, were killed. The injured has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital here.

Prakash (50) of Puthupally and Santhosh (35) were killed when the mini lorry they were travelling in fell into a rivulet at Manganam here. Lorry driver Binish and another person were injured and have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.
