Justice (Retd.) D. Sreedevi (79), a former judge of the Kerala High Court and former chairperson of the Kerala State Commission for Women, passed away this morning after a brief illness.
Justice Sreedevi was appointed as a judge of the Kerala High Court in 1997. She had served as the chairperson of the Commission twice. She is survived by her husband U. Balaji and son Basant Balaji.
Funeral will be held at Ravipuram crematorium at 5 p.m.
