March 14, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - Thrissur:

Forensic experts at the Thrissur Medical College Hospital on Friday took blood samples of the controversial businessman Mohammed Nisham, accused in the murder of a security guard here.

Sources said blood samples were taken on a demand by the forensic laboratory in Thiruvananthapuram in connection with the investigation in the Chandrabose murder case.

The blood samples collected from the luxury vehicle, used by Nisham to hit Chandrabose, had been sent to the forensic laboratory in Thiruvananthapuram. Nisham’s blood samples were collected to match with the samples taken from the vehicle.

Meanwhile, High Court lawyer Udhayabanu will take charge as special prosecutor in the Chandrabose murder case on Monday.
