Foreign service attaches (FSA) from friendly countries arrived at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala on Wednesday on an official visit.

As many as 20 FSAs arrived at the academy for a two-day official visit, a press release of the INA informed.

They were received by Commodore Arjun Dev Nair, Principal Director (Training), INA.

The visiting FSAs were formally briefed on the academy’s infrastructure progress and plans, training processes, and facilities.

A conducted tour to academic faculties and laboratories, warship simulator, weapon training centre, sail training centre, firing range, sports facilities, equitation training centre, cadets mess, cadets squadrons, and aquatics complex was also conducted for them.

Training cooperation

The release said the visiting dignitaries expressed interest in exploring possibilities for enhancing training cooperation with their respective countries and participation in the annual Admirals Cup Sailing Regatta.

A cultural programme featuring the cultural heritage of Kerala was also presented during their visit. Vice Admiral S.V. Bhokare, INA Commandant, hosted dinner for the visiting FSAs.
