Hundreds of believers thronged the St Paul’s and St Peter’s Church on the banks of river Pampa at Parumala as part of their annual pilgrimage to the tomb of Saint Gregorios there on Friday.

Faithfuls offered prayers and lit candles at the Saint’s tomb.

Geevarghese Mar Gregorios, better known as Parumala Thirumeni, passed away on November 1 in 1902 and his mortal remains were interred in a tomb inside the Parumala Church on November 2.
