The National Investigation Agency Special Court on Friday directed the police to ensure that the accused in terror cases were not allowed to speak to the media.

“Face must be covered”

The court also ordered that faces of such accused be covered while bringing them before the court from the prison. The directions were passed on a petition by the NIA complaining about the police allowing T. Nazir, an accused in the Kozhikode twin bomb blast case, to speak to a television channel while he was being taken to the jail after producing before the court two days ago.
