A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Thursday directed the State government to file periodic reports on the progress of the implementation of various relief measures for endosulfan victims in Kasaragod.
The Bench comprising Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice P.R. Ramachandra Menon asked the government to file the first report before July 14.
The court issued the directive when a writ petition filed by B.C. Kumaran of Kasaragod seeking a directive to the government to pay compensation to the 5,500 victims who had already been identified.
