A dhol band from Nasik is stealing the show as electioneering intensified in Nilambur.

The band members, wearing red t-shirt sporting Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan’s face and seeking vote for LDF’s Independent candidate P.V. Anvar, have been roaming through the constituency.

The band’s arrival has electrified the LDF campaign in Nilambur. Playing popular Bollywood tunes, the band has captivated the hearts of youngsters in and around Nilambur.

When Mr. Achuthanandan visited Nilambur on Sunday, the band provided perfect background for the CPI(M) leader’s arrival.

Mr. Anvar’s campaign managers claimed that they could positively influence the youth through enchanting dhol music.

Youngsters have been twisting to the tunes of the 14-member band in their musical journeys across the constituency.
