Minister for Fisheries and Registration S. Sarma has said that a decision on the proposed SmartCity Kochi project will be reached within two days.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function here on Tuesday, Mr. Sarma said that SmartCity had held discussions on the project in Dubai on Monday.
Stating that the government was awaiting details of the discussions, he expressed optimism about the future of the project. He, however, was quick to add that there was no question of government going back on its stated position on the freehold rights issue.
