Cruelty to people: RSP

Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) State secretary A.A. Azeez has said the Central government’s decision to dismantle the administrative pricing mechanism for diesel is a gross cruelty to the people.

In a statement here on Thursday, Mr. Azeez said the common man was already bearing the brunt of the decision to decontrol petrol prices. Measures such as these caused rise in price and impoverished the common man.

Revolutionary Youth Front general secretary K. Sunnykutty also protested against the deregulation of diesel prices.
