Ration card holders who applied for renewal of cards will be allowed an opportunity to ensure that the information they provided for the renewal is correct.

The Civil Supplies Department is giving card holders an opportunity to make sure that the information they provided for the 2015 card renewal is accurate.

The card holders could visit the website of the department (www.civilsupplieskerala.gov.in) and access the details given for renewal, an official press release said.

The ration card information could be accessed by clicking the link ‘View ration card details’ on the right side of the home page of the website.

To access the information, the card holder should type the card number, the release said.

The release said the website had the facilities to correct the mistakes, if any, on the pages that show the information.

For corrections, mobile phone number of the card holder should be entered on page 3.

It would generate a one-time password (OTP).

Once the OTP is typed, the corrections to be entered should be typed at the end of the page, the release said stressing that the corrections should be saved before exiting the page.

The release said that card holders could dial the toll-free number 1967 to clear any doubts regarding the entry of corrections.
