Congress on canine practice begins today

The 13th National Congress on Canine Practice, organised jointly by the Indian Society for Advancement of Canine Practice (ISACP), and the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CVAS), under the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), will be held at the university auditorium at Pookode on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

P.K. Uppal, advisor to the government of Punjab, will inaugurate the programme at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Sector’s challenges

The three-day congress will set a platform for deliberations and discussions on various challenges faced by the sector, the organisers said in a release here.

Academicians and researchers from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, various veterinary universities, veterinary colleges, Remount and Veterinary Corps of Indian Army, and entrepreneurs from canine and pet food industry will attend the programme.
