The Department of English of the CMS College will organise an alumni meet on December 30. The function is being held as part of Golden Jubilee celebrations of the introduction of postgraduate courses in the department.
Popular filmmaker Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, an alumnus of the College, will inaugurate the function.
Later in the day, a painting of the 16 teachers, who taught during the 1959 – 61 inaugural batch of the postgraduate programme will be unveiled by Dr. Thomas Mar Themotheos, Metropolitan of Kottayam diocese, Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, who is also an alumnus of the college.
