Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will review the progress of 114 projects of 38 departments, including 14 major projects, on October 9 and 10.
An official release said here on Saturday that three flagship projects of each department would come up for scrutiny at the sessions.
The aim of the review is to clear the hurdles in execution of major projects. Mr. Vijayan would review the departments of six Ministers, including those that come under him, on the first day and that of 12 Ministers on the second day.
The sessions which begin in the morning, will conclude only by evening. This is the first time that the Chief Minister is personally reviewing the progress of project implementation. Ministers, Chief Secretary and Secretaries of departments concerned would attend the review meeting.
The quarterly review of Plan projects is scheduled on October 11. Mr. Vijayan had been reviewing the progress in expending Plan funds once in three months. This would do away with the system of bunching of expenditure at the year-end, the release said.
