CM playing down issue: Chennithala

Leader of the Opposition Ramesh Chennithala has said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is playing ‘hide and seek’ in the incident involving the arrest of two Dalit sisters at Thalasserry. Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, he said that Mr.Vijayan was trying to play down the issue.

Pointing out that Mr.Vijayan had told mediapersons to ask the police about the incident, he said it was the duty of the Minister concerned to provide information about issues under the ministry. Why should there be a minister if the police had to be approached for details, he asked.
