Children visit police station, honour SI

Children of Government Lower Primary School, Konni, presenting a memento to Sub Inspector B. Vinodkumar, who won the Chief Minister’s Police Medal, at the police station in Konni on Thursday.

Sub Inspector B. Vinodkumar, the recipient of the Chief Minister’s Police Medal this year, played host to a group of little admirers on Thursday.

Students of Government Lower Primary School, Konni, accompanied by their teachers, visited the police station and interacted with the policemen. Initially, the children were a bit reluctant to interact with the men in khakhi. But soon scare gave way to friendly chat with the SI and his colleagues treating them with care. They presented a memento to the SI who cleared doubts on the functioning of the police. The children were offered sweets
