Chief Justice to inaugurate Onam fete

Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Jasti Chelameswar will inaugurate the Onam celebrations of Daya Charitable Trust, a social service organisation, on September 10 at Jobys Mall here at 3 p.m..

Chairman of the trust P. Sanjumon told presspersons here on Wednesday that the trust was concentrating on projects for the rehabilitation of HIV\AIDS affected women and children for the last five years.

Projects for the protection of mentally ill persons and distribution of medicine to the poor tribal people of Parambikulam, Nelliampathy, and Attappady were also taken up by the trust.

He said the Chief Justice would distribute ‘Onakkodi' and food kit to 150 HIV-infected widows and their children adopted by the trust.
