Case registered against KSRTC driver for over-speeding

The police registered a case against a KSRTC bus driver for over-speeding on Friday morning. The incident occurred near the Kodimatha private bus stand at around 9.15 a.m. The bus, which was on its way from Pathanamthitta to Coimbatore, was stopped by irate locals. The police had to intervene to defuse a tense situation. On Wednesday, a 29-year old woman was killed when a speeding KSRTC bus hit a two-wheeler in Kodimatha.
