The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has said that the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for professional degree courses for 2017-18 will begin from Friday.
Candidates included in the rank lists for Kerala Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy courses – 2017 can register their options on www.cee.kerala.gov.in from Friday till 5 p.m. on June 28. Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances.
The trial allotment will be held on June 27. The first allotment will be made on June 30. Though candidates are required to remit the fee shown in their allotment memo at the selected branches of the State Bank of India or by way of online payment in the first phase of allotment, they are not required to join the colleges.
Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the scheduled date will not only lose their allotment but also all existing options in the stream to which the allotment is made. Options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases.
The schedule for further allotments will be announced later in due course. The CAP for medical and allied courses will be announced soon, the CEE said in a notification issued here on Thursday.
The CEE has published the rank list of candidates eligible for admission to architecture courses, prepared by giving equal weightage for marks scored in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and the marks obtained in qualifying examinations.
The CEE also published the provisional category-wise list of candidates who have applied for admissions to professional courses and who are allowed with eligible communal reservation, special reservation, or reservation for persons with disability. Candidates under this category can submit their complaints along with supporting documents to the CEE before 5 p.m. on June 26.
The CEE has also published the fee structure for government, aided, government self-financing colleges, and engineering colleges under the respective universities. The CEE has also given the percentage-wise break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation policy.
The CEE will make the allotment to government seats available in government-controlled self-financing/ university-controlled/ private self-financing colleges.
