It is a move that talks about colours- vibrant colours of which dreams are made of. And also of cataclysmic colours of which nightmares are created.
For campus movie, ‘Shattering Colours : A Fable’ may seem too heavy.
However, it seems, like all campus films, this too will be with a message. The story progresses through the visuals of a train journey where people from different walks of life come together, share their dreams and expectations, painting colourful pictures of future which however suddenly turns wild and shattered in a bomb explosion, triggered by terrorist attack.
The short film canned in Udaya studios, Alappuzha, has a rich mix of both professionals and MA (Cinema)students of St Joseph’s College Communication, Changanassery, The creative team is led by John Sankaramangalam. The movie has been scripted and directed by noted cinematographer Sajan Kalathil. The professional crew also included veteran art director Salu K George.
