Boat with 70 tourists capsizes in Kerala

A boat carrying about 70 tourists capsized in the Tekkady Lake in Kerala's Iddukki district but there was no immediate reports of any casualty.

The boat, belonging to the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, capsized this evening, state Tourism Minister's Office here said.

There were about 70 people cruising in the boat when the mishap occurred. Rescue teams have been pressed into service.
