BJP government anti-farmer: MP

May 23, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - PATHANAMTHITTA:

The one-year rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance government e has proved beyond doubt that the government is anti-farmer and highly pro-corporate, N.K. Premachandran, MP, has said. Mr. Premachandran was addressing a public meeting organised by the United Democratic Front (UDF) district committee in connection with a reception accorded to the UDF zonal campaign rally led by him in Ranni town on Friday.

He said the Modi government had been busy amending various key laws of the land in favour of the corporate lobby. The NDA government had been protecting the corrupt, he alleged.

He said the LDF decision not to support the Congress-led UPA would only help the BJP and the NDA.
