A Bear that fell into a 30-feet deep well at Munnekkar in Karimba near Mannarkad on Monday was saved by Forest and Fire Force personnel in the early hours of Tuesday.

The Bear fell into an uncovered and unused well on Monday morning.

The expert veterinary teams from Wayanad and Thrissur tranqualised the wild animal and took it out of the well and caged it.

Later the animal was released in to the nearby Kalladikode forest. The Bear had no injury though it fell into the 30-feet deep well and the veterinary doctors found the animal healthy.
