The book ‘Nireeshwaran’ by V.J. James has been chosen for this year’s Thoppil Ravi Memorial Literary Award. The award, instituted by the Thoppil Ravi Foundation, in memory of Congress leader Thoppil Ravi, carries a cash prize of Rs.10,001, a citation, and a trophy. It will be presented to him by Transport Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan at a function to be held here on February 8 to commemorate the 25th death anniversary of Ravi. The function will be inaugurated by KPCC president V.M. Sudheeran.
