Attack on church cemetery condemned

The managing committee of the Shalom Mar Thoma Church at Mylapra, near here, has strongly condemned a series of attacks by anti-social elements on the church cemetery in the past few days.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, parish priest M.C. Samuel expressed concern over the slow pace of police investigation and delay in booking the culprits who had vandalised the vaults at the cemetery.

Fr Samuel said there was every reason to suspect that the attacks were the handiwork of certain anti-social elements.
